Hello, I am Kaja!
I am a herbalist with a formal background in European-style pharmacy (MPharm) and science (PhD). I have a life-long interest in traditional western herbal medicine, basic knowledge of which I gained during my university studies of pharmacy. I have taken my knowledge of herbalism further while studying with an array of respected herbal mentors, who align with my duality of scientific rigor and mysticism. The past 8 years have seen me crafting herbal skin care following the principles of pharmaceutical compounding and traditional herbalism. My herbal skin care has won prestigious industry awards and most importantly helped clients whose skin was going through literal & metaphorical rough patches.
Now I would like YOU to be able to do the same with the confidence both you and your clients deserve!

I weave information well-known and new into my extensive experience with herbal skin care. My courses are carefully curated and combine information in unique ways you will not find anywhere else. Herbalism for skin care makers / Skin care making for herbalists
This 3-part course in Herbal Skin Care explores the art & science of making skin care with herbal extracts as active ingredients. It is deeply embedded in traditional herbalism and underpinned by scientific principles. It presents a carefully curated information about skin, cosmetic science, pharmaceutical compounding and herbalism that you will not find anywhere else!
The three-part course is divided into the following classes:
1. Galenic Formulation in Herbal Skin Care
2. Cream Bases for Herbal Skin Care
3. Herbal Extracts for Natural Skin Care
More information about the course will become available in the first half of 2025. The third of the three modules will be available as a stand-alone class at the end of February 2025. The course in its entirety will take place over 6 weeks in July and August 2025 and will include an optional personal workshop. All modules will also be available as stand-alone classes.
